8.8 Earthquake,  Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski, Kamchatka, Russia

8.8 quake North Pacific Ocean, 119 km southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, Kamchatka, Russia

Several large foreshocks, aftershocks, and a tsunami accompanied this extra large quake which is currently tied for 6th place for the largest earthquakes on record.

Radian and 28° secant  measurements were applied to the areas with the M8.8 and the other the largest quakes within 24 hours prior.
